Before co-founding CRES, Brendan founded Back East Real Estate Services, providing asset management and underwriting services to a range of real estate investors and lenders. Earlier, he led asset management of Lincoln Avenue Capital’s workforce housing portfolio and served as Head of Asset Management at Spirit Investment Partners, overseeing business plan execution for the firm’s mixed-use portfolio. Brendan began his career at JPMorgan Chase in portfolio management for the firm’s Global Real Estate group, covering commercial office and retail acquisitions.
Brendan graduated from Villanova University and holds certifications including Certified Housing Asset Manager, LEED Green Associate, Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), and Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS).
Tony Ferrell, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Tony brings 15+ years of institutional multifamily experience, the majority spent at The Bascom Group overseeing real estate investments across the United States. His expertise spans business planning, top-line revenue growth strategy, renovation, investor and debt relations, budgeting, and oversight of property and construction management. Tony has been involved in the operation and repositioning of 70+ assets across 15 major markets, totaling 22,000+ apartment units along with commercial and retail space. Combined asset value exceeds $2 billion.
Tony began his career in 2006 with a national development company and spent two years with national property management firms before joining Bascom in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of North Texas and is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Texas.
Claire brings deep portfolio management experience from The Bascom Group and TriMont Real Estate Advisors. Since beginning her real estate career in 2007, she has progressed from financial analyst to managing a large national multifamily portfolio. Her expertise spans financial analysis, market comparison, onsite asset reviews, and value creation across portfolios throughout the Southeast. Before real estate, Claire worked at a forensic accounting firm, developing the attention to detail that defines her approach today.
Claire graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a BBA in International Business and a BA in Spanish. She is a Georgia CASA advocate for foster children and serves on her children’s school board.
TinaRae is a dynamic real estate professional with 11+ years of multifamily experience across the full deal lifecycle. Leasing, management, development, marketing, acquisitions, asset management, due diligence, and disposition. As former Vice President of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Madera Residential, her team acquired 92 apartment communities in Texas totaling 24,323 units with a combined portfolio value exceeding $2 billion.
TinaRae holds a BBA in Finance with a real estate concentration from Texas Tech University and serves on the advisory board for the Texas Tech Center for Real Estate.
David began his real estate career in 1987 and has overseen multifamily portfolios across the East Coast, including most major metropolitan markets. He has held senior executive roles at AION Management, Bonaventure, Avenue5 Residential, Kettler Management, Federal Capital Partners, NVR, and Equity Residential. David brings deep expertise in building and scaling teams, leading operations, and executing capital investment strategies across multifamily asset types from Class C value-add to Class A+ high-rise.
He is known for driving revenue performance through disciplined operational strategy and targeted technology adoption. David currently serves on advisory boards for TransUnion (Multifamily), Spherexx, and Propexo, and is a member of Advisory Experts.
